 OUR Town, OUR Change, and OUR Future. ERA’s priorities for 2013 to 2014 are focused on having more people involved and interested in what is happening in Esquimalt and being part of creating a common vision for our community. ERA’s focus for 2013 is on sharing ideas and resources of each citizen, organization, and business within Esquimalt to demonstrate our pride and hope for our community.

  • Resilient Neighborhoods Workshop / AGM 2013 – September 28th, 2013
    Guest Speaker: Michelle Colussi. Michelle Colussi has an extensive background in rural and small town revitalization and multi-stakeholder facilitation and leadership development in the nonprofit sector. Michelle is a certified facilitator of the “Training for Transition” workshop and is very active in building the Transition Town network in Canada.
  • Finding Common Ground: Community Mapping for Now & in the Future – 23 Oct 2013  The facilitators for this event are Maeve Lydon and Ken Josephson from Community Based Research Program at the University of Victoria. Maeve and Ken will help us plan the process which includes designing a community survey, community mapping and 3D modeling to create a future, and develop a budget.
